Just like anything else that has a reward at the end, the design journey is not any different. As you enter into your journey of home remodeling, it is good to recognize that there are highs and lows along the way.
“You will have highs in life and you will hit lows. Always stay true to yourself and stay strong. Happiness is a journey, not a destination.” – Unknown
The design journey brings its own type of highs and lows as you navigate remodeling your home. During the initial phases of design, there are highs because you are starting something new. Once you get heavy into the decisions of the designing phase, you may encounter a low, mainly due to not finding that perfect tile or fabric right away or a delay in receiving a product.
As you continue through to the construction phase, you will hit another high with demolition. Seeing everything torn out and starting to be rebuilt is a fun and exciting experience. Knowing you are actually making progress that you can see is encouraging.
During construction, there is a chance you will hit another low. Sometimes there are setbacks that are hard to avoid and it takes time to fix them. Your patience can be tested but ultimately you will make it through.
After construction you will hit another high when your products and furnishings start to be installed. This is more progress you can see which usually makes our clients excited again. The possibility of being finished and moving in can be very thrilling to most people.
Even though you are guaranteed to have highs and lows during the remodeling process, your interior designer will be there to help guide you through them. Our designers have taken many clients through the journey of remodeling and can help you through it as well.
